Training

Training 2016

We have a number of Level 2 Coaches in our team and we run regular training sessions. These are generally indoor until mid March when we start to venture outdoors! During regular season we train on Monday evenings as soon as there is enough light, from 6:30 onwards. These are generally indoor until mid March when we start to venture outdoors! Indoor Pre-Season Training

We will be running indoor training sessions Mondays from February 28th, 6-7pm at the Hough End Centre on Mauldeth Road West.

Outdoor Training will be 6:30pm, every Monday @ Hough End

When the light gets better in the evening, training sessions will be on Mondays from 6:30pm at the Hough End Centre.

We also have our batting cage and Iron Mike available exclusively for club members on Monday and Thursday evenings as well as Sunday afternoons 12-3. These times and days are not available to anyone else so you can always turn up and be assured of some space. We generally set a plan for coaching the week before and will coach specific teams as well as some general coaching for all members, so you’ll always know if there is a session coming up for you. We dont expect you to be able to make every coaching session, we all have other stuff going on! We always try to end training with a quick game, focusing on whatever has been the theme of the session that day.

      Sorry for the late reply! If you’re still interested in playing we’d love for you to pop along to a training session. Our next one is on Saturday March 14th @ 2pm.

      Feel free to drop me a message charlie [@] ocean-nomad [dot] com if you have any questions.

  • Hi, i work Monday evenings so i wouldn’t be able to attend training however as a keen baseball/softball fan i would still like to use the batting cages? is that possible? Also, if/when using the cages do you have to bring your own bat? Thanks

  • Hi Fern,

    you can book the cage whenever you like….you will need to bring your own bat though.

    Just use the link in the menu;
